I think I would prefer mobility rather than power, but I would also like to be able to play Battlefield 3 which would be better done on a desktop. This laptop will play only a few games I'm sure, but all other laptops I have looked at are over-priced (why not get a desktop) and I feel they would over-heat anyways. The Alienware X51 is nice for having a slim tower and the all-in-one Inspiron One 2320 looks cool as well needing no tower and being touch screen, only problem is the the processor is a bit slower I think (i5-2300s), and its video card is a GT525m. But the touch screen looks intriguing, especially being able to draw with a stylus and mount it on a wall. I just don't see the point in a laptop right now if I can just take my desktop with me if I go to live on campus in college. As for playing Battlefield 3 (concerning the Inspiron, don't think the X51 would have to many problems), the game looks pretty decent on low-quality and I can either play on high-res full screen or lower the resolution and put the game in windowed mode.

Turning off Norton "Safe Surfing" didn't help this time.

I tried everything I knew and finally contact our host.

My internet service provider was blocking the DNS servers.

Joe and Isac helped me with a work around. If you are having any issues try this. You are basically going around your ISP and using Googles DNS servers.


Instructions to change DNS servers for your PC

Open your Network by right clicking the network icon in the lower right corner of your screen.

Click on Open Network and Sharing Center

Click Local Area Connection

Click Properties

Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

Click Properties

Click Use the following DNS server addresses

Preferred DNS server: 8 8 8 8

Alternate DNS server: 8 8 8 4

Click OK

Restart PC

The contest will start at 10:00:00AM Eastern Time on May 1, 2012. The contest will end when the details below have been met or on May 31, 2012 at 8:00PM Eastern Time, which ever comes first.
